Greetings everyone of Newgrounds, As you can see; My name's is Etrius and despite being apart of the community for quite some times, I hadn't posted a single thing including the fact of being unaware I had made an account in the first place. But I've followed this community for quite a while and since recently I've made a move onto 3D animation which I will soon be posting here, Though you can see my older works in the youtube link. I am also a writer and one who decided to entertain you readers with a small short story introduction.

It was cold. The snow gently fell from the clouds bit by bit. Ashen skies hung over the sleet covered temple shrine, City lights were only visible afar in the distance, As a gloomy forest surrounded a woman; Whose breath was chilling but steady, Hanging in the air like a frosted sheet of ice. Her armored robe was flimsy and the shrine could only do so much to shelter her from the cold.

"Are you cold?" She looked up to the voice, Soft and warm; Almost even thawing.

"Pfft... It is only a cold." Despite so, She shivered ever so much, Rattling the armor plates that rested on her shoulders. The girl giggled, Shaking her head before holding out a large, toasty robe with a smile. The woman stared at it, Not in disbelief but distrust. Still, She adorned the thousand summers, Warming her snow stricken skin, Her skepticism though, Was not washed away. "You're here for a reason are you not?" She spoke in a grave tone, The voice of the the woman was only able to carry here emotions as her face reduced to a blank page.

"Yes!" The girl clapped her hands together excitedly, Expressing her gratitude with a smile. "I want to learn how to wield three swords." She began walking slowly towards the shrine's exit, A large red gate which led down the many flights of stairs. The woman stood up but didn't move, Staring. The girls movement was beautiful, Her blue long pigtails waved in the wind, Each stride was quick but careful... Just like the grace of a katana...

"Why is it you want to learn the skills of a samurai....? Aren't you also, I would say... An assassin?" Her voice grown more grim, Staring through the slits of her eye lids. The girl then stopped in her tracks, Leaving no more foot prints. "And, I have reason to believe I am your target also." The air around settled nothing more but a bleak taste. The girl turned around without a smile, But to face the warrior with a glare. Their gazes cleaved through the air, As they decided the next judgement that could very well end up in bloodshed. The girl rose her hands... And clapped them together with a smile.

"I want to do more than kill you." She pointed towards the woman with a single finger. "You won’t let me kill you. So I will defeat you, And you will teach me how to defeat you."

The woman chuckled, Giving a meager smile as they never were easy for her to make. "Fine, I have not much to do, And making sure you're not up to anything seems plausible." The girl nodded her head with a grin before prancing out the exit delighted with the answer. Once she turned her back, The woman's eyes opened, Gawking at the round marble bomb that was hidden, Barely visible. "And I'd rather not die by a explosion ..." She mumbled to herself. Her eyelids closed, She sighed and continued following after the girl, Stuffing her hands into the warm pockets. As the snow continued to fall, Ever so relentlessly, Obscuring the skies with nothing but stone clouds.
